The Acey has released it’s own-label collection of knitwear and I’m a big fan! This is the Selenite Grey Ribbed Sweater made in Scotland from 100% geelong lambswool. I’ve worn it everyday this week!

This slouchy fit Pebble jumper by Ally Bee is made from 100% dye-free yarn spun from the fleece of alpaca flocks reared in the South of England. Obsessing a lot over Ally Bee’s beautiful designs at the mo and love that she keeps things local.

The Danes know how to create a good quality knit if all the scandi-noir tv shows are anything to go by! The Amaru Knitted Jumper by Aiayu * is made from 100% llama wool, using a thicker weave for extra warmth. This has Hygge written all over it!

Whilst I love a slouchy fit when it comes to jumpers, sometimes I need something a little more figure hugging and this ribbed 100% fine merino wool sweater from Toast looks like just the ticket. It could also double up as an extra thermal under layer for those extra chilly days!

Another striking, well made piece from Copenhagen-based label Aiayu. Their collections make the most of natural materials, including llama wool, yak wool, GOTS certified organic cotton and cashmere. This blush pink Brigida top is made from llama wool and cashmere.

Reformation. Need I say more? Cropped, cute and consciously designed and made, using surplus and natural fabrics.  This Panama sweater is made from alpaca wool and silk, I tried this on in their London pop-up store and loved it.

EIGHT

I discovered Ille de Cocos earlier this year via A Luxe Story pop up. I love the designs and this colour block jumper made from wool and cashmere caught my eye. I chatted to the woman behind the label, Deola, who explained that all of her pieces are ethically made.

I think the herringbone panel on this 100% wool, hand knitted Amina navy jumper from People Tree * is a really lovely touch, with a nod to tradition and heritage yet a very modern, boxy fit.

I love the bramble texture on this Bramble Bee Raglan Jumper by Ally Bee. Made using the knitted yarn of 100% British Bluefaced Leicester sheep which is sometimes referred to as the “cashmere of Britain”. And it’s currently on sale too!

ELEVEN

screen-shot-2016-12-02-at-23-39-36Made in Scotland, this pink and red colour block jumper by Luna and Curious using 100% lambswool is such a great colour combo!  I love the loose, comfy fit and ribbed texture too!

TWELVE

You guys may already know that I own this jumper and wear it a lot! I love the innocent caption and that it’s made from 100% merino wool.

THIRTEEN

I really like Finisterre – a Cornish brand with an incredible ethos. They’re like the British version of Patagonia! This gorgeous Bosun Crew waffle knit in hot orange is made from 100% Superfine Merino wool which is sourced from Australian non-mulesed sheep farms. The yarn is spun in Italy and knitted in Portugal.

With this luxurious lot, we’ll be looking for excuses to wrap up warm. Won’t our Mother’s be pleased!
